2018 Lock-In

On September 28th and 29th, HAS held its annual tradition of Lock-In and the students and teachers had so much fun! Lock-In is a great way for new and returning students and teachers to get to form strong bonds and build a sense of community. Student Activities Coordinator Elvis Feng and Angel Lin started off the event and did an amazing job of planning and leading three different house activities for all of the students to enjoy. The students then had dinner and then split into activity-based rooms. One of the highlights of the night was definitely the KTV Community Service event ran by Kelly and Ariel where Student Council members were nominated to sing in front of the entire school! Ben Lee belted out Titanium and Ethan Murphy did an excellent rendition of Let it Go from the movie, Frozen. After the activity rooms, many students stayed up all night chatting, participating in challenging Kahoot trivia rounds, playing board games and bonding. Overall, the Lock-In this year was a great success. HAS Student Council would like to thank all of the students and teachers in participating in this event!
