Young Journalists in Action: A Day with a Music Scholar

In the elementary's journalism club, The Wolf Pen Club, the students had the privilege of interviewing Hsinchu American School's music teacher and distinguished music scholar, Mr. Boas. He gave a lecture about "The Day in the Life of a Music Student." He even played the flute and shared a YouTube video of him performing in an orchestra! Elementary students took on the role of young journalists by taking notes, asking good questions, and making illustrations. The purpose of this activity is to encourage students to write and to improve their speaking skills.

在小學的新聞社團「狼筆俱樂部」中，學生們很榮興採訪了新竹美國學校的音樂老師兼傑出的音樂學者Boas先生。他為學生們進行了一場題為「音樂學生的一天」的講座，甚至現場演奏了長笛，並分享了他在管弦樂團演出時的YouTube影片！小學生們扮演了小記者的角色，做筆記、提問和繪製插圖。這項活動的目的是鼓勵學生寫作並提升他們的口語表達能力。
