Hsinchu American School Travel Policy

On March 17th, 2020, the government and the ministry of education have decided to prohibit students and teachers at the high school level and below from traveling abroad until the end of the semester due to the increase of imported COVID-19 cases in Taiwan. For the safety of the Hsinchu American School community, we would like to adopt this policy for our students, teachers, and staff. All non-essential travel abroad is prohibited. If students, teachers, or staff must travel abroad, they must report their travel history upon their return to the school via phone, LINE, or email and be quarantined for fourteen (14) days. Online instruction will be provided for students that are quarantined. This new policy is effective until June 12th.

《新竹美國學校旅遊措施》

2020年3月17日由於台灣境外移入的新冠肺炎病例人數增加，政府和教育部宣佈禁止全國高中以下學校師生，本學期上課日期間禁止出國旅遊，直到學期結束。

為了確保新竹美國學校全體職員安全，因此同步對我們的學生、老師和教職員工採取此項措施，禁止所有非必要的出國旅行。

如果學生，教師或工作人員必須出國旅遊，必須在返國後，透過電話、LINE或電子郵件向學校報告旅遊史，並在家休息隔離十四天。學校將為被隔離的學生提供在線指導課程。這項旅遊禁止措施將持續至6月12日。
