10/5 Parent-Teacher Conference

Dear HAS Parents / Guardians:

The teaching staff at Hsinchu American School would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the first semester Parent-Teacher Conference on October 5th from 16:00-19:00. This conference will be held for the purpose of increasing your understanding of the progress of your child. It will take place 4 weeks before midterm exams, which will give you time to receive teacher feedback that will help your child before the first quarter ends.

When you arrive, please check in with the office to obtain a copy of your child's schedule. The office is located on the 1st floor. You may choose which teachers you would like to meet with by walking to their classroom and waiting outside until they are available. Each teacher will provide a current grade for all students and an update of their progress. Please be sure to limit your discussion to a maximum of 10 minutes per teacher so that other parents have the opportunity to meet with all teachers.

親愛的家長及監護人您好:

新竹美國學校全體老師想利用這個機會，邀請您參加10月5日16:00-19:00，第一學期的家長座談會。此次座談會的主要目的是:增進您對孩子學習狀況的了解。座談會舉辦的時間是訂在期中考前的4個禮拜，讓家長有時間可以了解老師們對您孩子的回饋，同時也可以在第一季結束之前，提供給孩子們需要的協助。

當天您抵達學校後，請先到1樓的辦公室拿一份孩子的功課表。在您選擇想要與哪位老師進行會談後，請直接到老師的教室；若教室內正在進行會談，請在教室外面稍待片刻，等老師有空檔時間，就可以進教室跟老師進行會談。每位老師將會提供給家長學生目前的分數，和最近的學習狀況。請您務必遵守與每位老師會談的時間，最多不要超過10分鐘。如此一來，每位家長才能與所有老師都進行會談。
