2017 Graduation Ceremony

HAS's 2017 graduation was held in the Apollo room of the Lakeshore Hotel. It was attended by a large group of students, parents and faulty members, all of whom had a great time!

The feeling of pride was palpable as diplomas were handed out for students graduating from grade 5, 8 and 12. Parents lined up in front of the stage to snap photographs of the happy moment.

The evening also featured some wonderful speeches, including the senior address from this year's valedictorian, Shannon Chen and an alumni speech from Schrasing Tong, who just graduated from Princeton and will begin studying for a PhD at MIT in Engineering during the fall.

To bring it all to a close, HAS students performed a variety of dances and songs while everyone enjoyed some delicious food, good company and pleasant conversation.
