Grade 1 Tryout Day

Today, we were excited to welcome a wonderful group of future first graders to Hsinchu American School for our Grade 1 Trial Day! The children stepped into the shoes of real first graders—attending classes, meeting their teachers, making new friends, and exploring our vibrant campus. Everything was fresh, fun, and full of discovery.

In our immersive English environment, students experienced interactive lessons, STEAM activities, reading time, and collaborative learning—hallmarks of an American education that emphasizes inquiry, creativity, and critical thinking. We also place great importance on character development and social-emotional learning, ensuring every child grows with confidence in a safe and nurturing community.

Seeing their bright smiles and eager curiosity truly reminded us how special the beginning of a learning journey can be. We look forward to partnering with more families as we support our students in taking their first steps toward a bright future!

今天我們迎來了一群準備升上小一的可愛新生們，展開他們在新竹美國學校的第一天體驗生活！孩子們化身為小小一年級生，走進教室上課、認識老師與新朋友，也探索充滿活力的校園環境。對他們來說，每一刻都是新鮮又有趣的冒險。
