High School Student Council

The High School Student Council is one of the longest-standing and most active student organizations at Hsinchu American School. Led by four elected Executive Officers and grade-level representatives, the council follows its own Constitution and works to enhance student life, promote school spirit, and organize key events such as dances and fundraisers. It also manages the student store and activities fund.

Working closely with the council are the Student Activities and Community Service committees, each led by elected chairs. The Student Activities committee hosts major events like Homecoming, Prom, and Sports Day, while the Community Service committee coordinates volunteer opportunities and charity fundraisers, supporting both graduation requirements and meaningful causes.
Middle School Student Council

Middle School Student Council is a club for our younger members of HAS. Students help plan and organize middle school activities and events. They have a lot of fun working together to plan the best activities they can bring to teachers and students. The club helps make students’ semesters more fun and encourages everyone to work together. During club time, students test their creativity through discussion and teamwork. Sometimes, they even vote to make decisions, which can help improve their speaking and thinking skills!

Middle School Community Service invites students in Grades 5–8 to join and plan service projects. MSCS is a great way to have fun, work together, and get involved in the community!
