High School Volunteers Spread Love at Genesis Foundation

Today (03/28/25), 11 high school volunteers from Hsinchu American School visited the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation Hsinchu Branch for the first time to participate in a meaningful service activity.

Genesis Social Welfare Foundation is dedicated to caring for individuals in a vegetative state, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment. The volunteers had the opportunity to tour the facility, learn about the daily lives of the residents, and understand how they are cared for.

Today’s service included preparing medical supplies and assisting with administrative tasks. Although it was just a short morning, everyone was fully engaged and experienced the joy of helping others.

At the end of the activity, students shared their thoughts: “A sense of accomplishment,” “Fun,” and “Meaningful.” These simple words truly reflect the value of this volunteer experience! We look forward to seeing them continue their involvement in community service and spreading love and care to those in need.

今天（03/28/25），來自新竹美國學校的11位高中志工，首次來到創世社會福利基金會新竹分院參與服務與學習。

創世基金會致力於照顧植物人院民，提供安全與溫暖的生活環境。志工們今天參觀了院內設備與環境，了解院民的日常生活與照護方式，並親身參與服務工作。

本次志工服務包含衛材用品的事前準備與文書資料處理，雖然只有短短的一個上午，但大家都投入其中，感受到助人的喜悅。

活動結束後，學生們分享心得：「有成就感」、「好玩」、「很有意義」—— 短短幾句話，卻道出這次志工體驗的價值！期待他們未來持續參與公益，將愛與關懷傳遞下去！
