HAS Student Shortlisted in Prestigious John Locke Essay Competition

We are proud to share that our student, Alireza Nazari, was shortlisted out of over 63,328 essay entries worldwide in the John Locke Essay Competition, organized by the John Locke Institute, University of Oxford.Earlier this October, he attended the 2025 John Locke Academic Conference and Global Essay Prize Awards Dinner, joining talented students from around the world in celebrating academic excellence.

This prestigious international competition invites high school students to tackle thought-provoking questions in philosophy, economics, history, psychology, theology, and law. Through this experience, our students strengthen their critical thinking and argumentation skills, while learning to develop and express independent perspectives. With essays judged by scholars from Oxford, Princeton, and other world-class universities, the competition provides an extraordinary platform for young minds to showcase their ideas on a global stage.

Reza’s achievement reflects his curiosity, perseverance, and unwavering passion for learning, qualities that make our school community proud!

今年十月初，他受邀參加 2025 John Locke 學術會議暨全球論文獎晚宴，與來自世界各地的優秀學生一同齊聚，慶祝學術上的卓越表現。

這項國際知名賽事邀請全球高中生挑戰涵蓋 哲學、經濟學、歷史、心理學、神學與法律 的深度議題，鼓勵學生培養批判性思維與論證能力，並發展獨立見解。所有參賽作品由來自 牛津、普林斯頓等世界頂尖大學 的學者進行評選，為年輕學子提供了一個在全球舞台上展現思維與才華的絕佳平台。
