Campus Speed Limit and Safe Driving Notice

Dear HAS Parents and Staff,

Recently, we have received reports from parents regarding some vehicles driving at excessive speed within the Chung Hua University campus. Some cars were seen failing to slow down at speed bumps, and even engaging in dangerous overtaking or brief wrong-way driving.

Such behavior poses serious safety risks to our students, families, and staff. According to Chung Hua University’s campus traffic regulations, the maximum speed limit within the campus is below 20 km/h.

We kindly remind all HAS parents and staff to observe the speed limit, drive cautiously, and yield to pedestrians when driving in and around the school area. Let us work together to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

近日接獲家長反映，部分車輛於進出中華大學校區時行駛速度過快，甚至出現未減速通過減速帶、或為了超車而短暫逆向行駛的情形。此類行為屬於危險駕駛，可能對校內學生、家長及教職員的安全造成威脅。

經與中華大學校方確認，校區內車輛限速為每小時20公里以下。

請全體家長與教職員在校內行駛時務必遵守速限、減速慢行、禮讓行人，共同維護校園交通秩序與安全。
