The HAS girls volleyball team was defeated by American School in Taichung on Wednesday, November 28 in three sets. The girls came out with first game jitters in set 1 before storming back to secure a set 2 victory in a thriller. Vivian Chen went to the service line and rattled off more than a half-dozen consecutive service points to lead the Lady Wolves to a decisive game 3. However, AST was too fundamentally sound and took the match.
Chen made her presence felt in her first game with the program. Her all-around play was complimented by strong performances from Dana Tils and Evelyn Lin.
