10/30 Special Visit from College Board

The Hsinchu American School had a special visit on Tuesday, October 30, from two representatives of the College Board: Mr. Sonny Lin, Executive Director of International College Board, and Mr. Gino Kuo, the Director of International Marketing. Four administrators and three teachers attended the very informative presentation. Mr. Lin and Mr. Kuo discussed changes to the AP program including the creation of a new AP Capstone program as well as new features of the SAT testing program including new and improved resources for students and parents and a new test date for August. HAS was one of only two schools in the area who warranted a visit. Mr. Lin felt that our school was well-positioned to take advantage of the information presented.
