A Magical Moment: 4th Graders Share Their Stories with 1st Graders

Our 4th-grade Mini-Authors became storytelling mentors, and it was pure magic.

Armed with their very own handmade books, they walked into our 1st-grade classrooms and did something remarkable: they shared a piece of themselves. Every story was born from their own imagination, from that first spark of an idea, through every draft, down to each hand-drawn illustration lovingly brought to life.

Watching the older students read aloud with such pride, and the little ones lean in with wide, wondering eyes… there are no words for how special that moment was.

Our 4th graders, they didn't just write a book. They became authors, illustrators, and today, mentors. We couldn't be more proud. 🩷
